I am offering English tutoring services in traditional one-on-one interaction or over cyberspace. I originally thought of this modern way, online, during the difficult weather conditions of last winter when it was particularly convenient to get help from one’s own home, although I can think of many more reasons someone might prefer exchanges over the computer. It may be easier for students with disabilities ‘transportationwise,’ but either way, my house is completely wheelchair accessible. My advertisement follows:

ENGLISH TUTOR

I am offering writing and grammar tutoring services in person or over the computer to high school and college-aged students. In person, it is the traditional one-on-one interaction. If you choose the email way, simply submit your manuscript to my email address,  and tell me the level of editing you want, time limitations etc. I correct it, comment on it, and communicate with you about it; and you decide the number of exchanges between us. Fees depend on the number of pages and exchanges.

I graduated from Washtenaw Community College with a General Studies degree in 1989, and from Saint Andrews College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1993. Formerly an employee in WCC’s Learning Support Services Office for 12 years, I have worked as a educator for students with physical and cognitive disabilities in many capacities. As an experienced blogger (rollingwiththepunches.net) and a future author (I’m writing a novel), writing has become my deepest passion. Writing well has become my greatest ambition for myself and others.
