As soon as I find my article about my Alma Mater that I wrote just after I graduated in 1993, I will post it here. But Saint Andrews Presbyterian College was, and maybe still is, the only college in the United States that relieves its physically disabled students of the burden to hire and manage their own personal care assistants. The dorm I resided in, The Burris Health Center, had a crew of male and female personal care assistants on duty 24 hours a day, a few LPNs, and three RNs.
