I mentioned my previous voice amplifiers in my post Dormant Hope. They weren’t as practical for daily use as I wanted back then. But my Voicebooster from TK Products, that I bought last October, works awsomely (and, mounted onto my wheelchair, it can really withstand my crazy driving/crashing!) It is a dream come true, and now that my microphone is broken, and I am needing to go without it, I realize more than ever how much I strain to talk loudly enough to be understood. The over-the-ear microphone that is advertised to be compatible with the Voicebooster is fragile (and not included). I’ve had two in seven months because the first one stopped working for no apparent reason, and now the second one is working inconsistently, so I need to buy a third one.

I should add that the Voicebooster cost $60 and the microphone $20 when I bought them, about a fourth of the price of the Chattervox and microphone when I bought them and about  an eighth of the price of the Justamp (microphone included) when I bought it.
